We like to call ourselves Little Miracles!!
The most important piece of information that you need to know about this ministry is that we believe that Jesus is the Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life (2 Corinthians 5:21) and died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and was raised from the dead on the third day (I Corinthians 15:3-4). Our number one goal in our Children’s Ministry is to teach our children these
life-saving biblical truths.
Why is Children’s Ministry is a priority at Miracle Baptist Church?
Studies show that if people do not embrace Jesus Christ as their Savior before they reach their teenage years, the chance of doing so at all is slim. (Barna, Transforming Children into Spiritual Champions). He reports a 32 percent chance of children accepting the Lord between the ages of 5 to 12 compared to 4 percent in 13 to 18-age group and 6 percent in people 19 or older.
These statistics call for a jump into action! Jesus calls us in Matthew 28:19, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
We take this responsibility seriously. We want to serve you and your family as a support system, a means of encouragement, in the development of your children’s intellectual, physical, emotional, and most importantly, spiritual needs.
We provide programs during both our Wednesday and Sunday services for children ages birth through sixth grade. Below is a schedule of these programs and you may click on the link to learn more specific information about each program.
